IBC2026 vendor scan: sources

Everything the scan was built from, and what each source was used for.

v. 1.0.0 · updated 18 September 2026

This list is reconstructed after the fact and I would not swear it is complete. Searches that returned nothing useful are not recorded, and a handful of pages consulted early on are no longer traceable. Where a record in the scan rests on a single source, that is noted in the record itself through the depth and booth-source fields rather than here.

The primary source

201 IBC-tagged email threads received between June and 8 September 2026, read directly. This is where the scan starts and it is the one source that cannot be linked. Ninety-three of the hundred companies in scope reached me this way. Thirty-nine records were built from reading the full message; twenty-seven rest on a subject line, a newsletter snippet or a directory blurb, and are marked as such.

Official IBC sources the show's own record

Used for booth codes, hall structure, conference and showfloor programming, awards and attendance.

Post-show coverage and roundups the widest-reach sources

Two SVG Europe roundups did more work than anything else here, covering seventeen companies between them.

Company sources first-party, by vendor

Press rooms, product pages and event pages, used where a record needed the company's own words.

Trade press, by story where a claim needed a second source

What was tried and failed recorded because it shaped the method
